The MiniStation Thunderbolt / USB Portable Hard Drive is intended for PC and Mac users that require the fastest interface speeds as well as backward-compatibility with devices that support USB 2.0 or USB 3.0.

The MiniStation Thunderbolt / USB Portable Hard Drive is the first to couple the ubiquitous 5 Gbps USB 3.0 port for legacy support with Intel’s 10 Gbps Thunderbolt technology to deliver maximum interface speeds. The HDD requires no additional power supply and can be formatted to support both PCs and Macs.

Availability

The MiniStation Thunderbolt will be available this summer through distributors, online resellers, and Buffalo’s web site.
