These two new systems are the SYS-2029U-E1CRT and SYS-6029U-E1CRT4. The two new systems are certified on VMWare vSAN version 6.6, vSphere version 6.7, and SAP HANA 2.0. The above listed hardware can really bring performance to SAP workloads. The new Intel Xeon Scalable CPUs also come with Intel DL Boost. Intel DL Boost is a built-in AI accelerator that provides the agility to extract further insights from AI-infused workloads.

Supermicro and VMware stated that their collaboration is an ideal alternative to the traditional Fiber Channel SAN-based virtualization infrastructure. Forgoing much of the complexity that the traditional infrastructure brings, VMware vSAN brings ease of use and scalability to HCI. vSAN can overcome other challenges brought on by SAN and NAS including the networking challenges.
