Today DigitalOcean announced the launch of its Managed Databases. The first offering released under their Managed Databases is PostgreSQL. Through this service developers will be able to create fully managed database instances in the cloud quickly and efficiently.

Cisco reported its second quarter earnings for its fiscal 2019, which ended on January 26, 2019. Overall the numbers are looking pretty good, especially compared to this time last year. The stock had a bit of a mixed day as it was downgraded from Morgan Stanley; it did however spike up in after hours trading.

Today Veeam Software announced record results for its fiscal year 2018. The company is claiming $963 milling in total bookings, up 16% year-over-year. Veeam also stated that it has added roughly 4,000 new customers per month over the last year.

Today Lenovo announced what it is calling the first true ‘pay-as-you-use data center’ as-a-Service offering, TruScale Infrastructure Services. As one might have guessed, this service allows users to use and pay for data center hardware and servers, at their locations is an aaS manner.
