Acumera has announced the acquisition of Scale Computing, a move that positions the combined entity as the largest software company dedicated to edge computing. The new organization will operate under the Scale Computing brand, signaling a commitment to continuity and innovation for existing customers and partners.

The AcuVigil Platform, which combines Scale Computing’s highly available edge AI and virtualization solutions with Acumera’s secure managed edge and network capabilities, is the result of this strategic merger. The result is a unified platform that enables organizations to deploy, manage, and scale AI workloads at the edge with unprecedented confidence and security. The combined company is uniquely positioned to serve businesses ranging from single-site operations to global enterprises with tens of thousands of locations, delivering real-time decision-making, low-latency processing, and operational simplicity.
