Samsung has announced their new family of SSDs, the SSD 830 series. The new drives will offer a SATA 6Gb/s interface and will be the only current generation SATA 6Gb/s SSDs built entirely in-house; leveraging Samsung NAND, processor and firmware.
LSI has released an update to its SSD-caching software package for their MegaRAID 6Gb/s SATA+SAS controller cards.
