Lexar NM800PRO SSD, Gaming Gear Showcased at CES 2023

Lexar has unveiled a range of new high-end products at the Consumer Electronics Show 2023 (CES 2023), including DRAM, internal SSDs, portable gaming SSDs, and microSD cards. Among the new releases are the ARES DDR5 RGB 6000MHz RAM, the NM800PRO M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4x4 NVMe SSD (with Heatsink), the SL660 BLAZE Gaming Portable SSD, and the PLAY microSD UHS-I Card.

Lexar NM800PRO

Available in capacities of 2TB, 1TB, and 512GB, the NM800PRO features read and write speeds up to 7,500MB/s and 6,500MB/s, respectively. Lexar indicates that they are purpose-built for hardcore gamers (PS5 ready), professionals, and creators and feature an integrated heatsink to keep temperatures stable during intense applications.

Lexar will also be demonstrating products from their photography and videography portfolio designed for high-end professional equipment. This includes:

• The new 512GB capacity from their Professional CFexpress Type B Card DIAMOND Series (see our review of the 256GB model), which features speeds up to 1900MB/s read and 1700MB/s write
  
• 1TB and 2TB capacity models from the Professional CFexpress Type B Card GOLD Series, which features speeds up to 1750MB/s read, and 1000MB/s write.
  
• Professional CFexpress Type A 320GB (see our review of the 160GB model) and RW530 reader bundle, the former of which features speeds up to 900MB/s read and 800MB/s write.

Availability

The ARES DDR5 RGB 6000MHz, the 512GB Professional CFexpress Type B Card DIAMOND Series, and the 1TB-2TB Professional CFexpress Type B Card GOLD Series are slated for a US release in the latter part of Q1 2023.
