ASRock Rack is showcasing a diverse array of server systems designed for AI and high-performance computing (HPC) applications at the SC’23 conference. Their booth will feature NVIDIA-certified GPU systems, a new range of products incorporating NVIDIA’s latest GPUs, and several groundbreaking server systems and server boards.

ASrock Rack server platforms

A key highlight of ASRock Rack’s presentation at SC’23 is their range of NVIDIA-Certified GPU Systems. This includes the 2U4G-GENOA/M3 and 4U8G series GPU server solutions, compatible with the NVIDIA H100 PCIe. The 4U8G and 4U10G series are designed to accommodate multiple high-wattage GPUs and numerous hot-swappable drives tailored for intense AI workloads in cloud environments. In contrast, the 2U4G-GENOA/M3 is suited for lighter workloads, featuring AMD EPYC 9004 series processors and capacity for multiple GPUs and expansion slots. This diverse portfolio highlights ASRock Rack’s commitment to catering to a range of computing needs.

New Product Line Unveiled

ASRock Rack is also unveiling its new product line integrated with the NVIDIA HGX H100 8-GPU, including the 6U8X-EGS2 and 6U8X-GENOA2 servers. Compatible with Intel and AMD processors, these servers are designed with advanced cooling and power solutions to maximize CPU and GPU performance. Including the NVIDIA HGX H200 8-GPU is particularly interesting, as it promises to enhance performance in generative AI and HPC applications significantly, with over 32 petaflops of deep learning computing and substantial high-bandwidth memory.

Another innovative product to be showcased at the event is the NVIDIA GH200 Grace Hopper Superchip-powered MECAI server. This 2U short-depth server, ideal for edge computing environments due to its compact size, leverages advanced memory technology to significantly improve throughput. This will help the company push the boundaries of edge AI, offering businesses new avenues to enhance operational efficiency and intelligence.

Highlighting Multi-node Server Systems

ASRock Rack is also introducing its new range of GPU servers at SC’23. This includes the Arm-based 4U2G-ALTRA, utilizing Ampere Altra Max, and the compact 2U1G-B650 server, which employs AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors capable of supporting a 3-slot GPU. Moreover, the company is presenting the 1U24E1S-GENOA, a 1U all-flash storage solution equipped with 24 hot-swappable E1.S drive bays, compatible with PCIe Gen5 SSDs and powered by an AMD EPYC 9004 Series Processor. Lastly, ASRock highlights its high-density multi-node server systems, specifically the 4U18N-B550 and 4U18N-C252, each noted for its substantial server capacity.

In their server board lineup, ASRock Rack is showcasing a variety of server boards optimized for modern server platforms. At SC’23, visitors can see server boards such as the SIENAD8-2L2T, BERGAMO2D16-2T, BEGAMOD8-2T, GENOAD8X-2T, SP2C741D16X-2T, and W790D8UD-1L1N2T/BCM. These boards are equipped with multiple PCIe Gen5 slots, catering to the growing needs for GPU and accelerator use in AI inference and other applications. Also on display are the half-width server boards, including the ROMED8HM3, SIENAD10HM3, SP2C741D16HM3, and W790D8HM3. These boards are compatible with various processors, including AMD EPYC 8004 series, Intel 4th Gen Xeon Scalable, and Intel Xeon W-3400 and W-2400 series, designed for high-density CPU computing.
